Prior to colour...The hard work is over!

I thought it would be interesting to show the drawing prior to colour. Many hours were needed to get to this stage. I find the preperation takes up a lot of the time, once I have all the ideas in my head I pencil in as much detail as needed, once happy I then use a permenant marker, at this stage there is no return. Once inked I thoroughly rub out the pencil marks, this produces a clean and precise template to add my colour, this is the moment i have been waiting for...the easy bit!
